I am a firm believer that everything happens for a reason, and there is no such thing as coincidence.
The Universe will always give you what is needed at the right time- you just have to trust the process.
I would never have thought that I would be pregnant at 19 while residing in a homeless shelter- Then left abandoned by the father of my child there to fend for myself.
…. But apparently, this was the obstacle I needed to build resilience and awaken to my life’s purpose.
I never would have thought I’d be a successful probation officer 20 years later and spend over a decade trying to help others improve their life. My experiences while at the shelter would stay with me while raising my child, through college, and building a life for me and my family.
I don’t regret my time at the shelter one bit. I genuinely feel it gave me strength, helped me understand the meaning of gratitude, and built character and strength. I am a fighter.
Once you hit rock bottom, there’s no place to go but up. Obstacles are no more than opportunities for you to persevere and gain wisdom.
When you start from scratch, you get to rewrite your own story. You are the writer, producer, AND the director. Imagine how AWESOME your story can be!
The Buddha hinted in order to gain anything, you first have to lose everything. Spiritual growth requires personal sacrifice.
That’s exactly what I did.
Being a probation officer is being a Life Coach with training to wear different hats for different clients. Not everyone is the same and how I approach one person will be different how I approach another with the same problem. It’s hard to not want to save the world and help as many people as I can, but with my job came boundaries. Let’s just say now I have gone Rogue and moved in another direction. I will help, motivate, and lift as many people as possible- with no rules or boundaries because this world needs it- Humanity needs it more than ever!
I want to give others hope, provide motivation, and encourage others to overcome their trauma and use their obstacles as opportunities to succeed, persevere, and live a life that is authentic!!
Everyone’s journey is different. Everyone has their own path. Everyone has their own karma.
Let’s help each other, motivate each other, encourage each other, and be brave enough to share our stories to show we are NOT ALONE!
